Horizon Industries Limited (HIL) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in Washington, DC area. We are currently seeking highly accomplished IA Security Engineer (IATII) Personnel for a full-time position with the Defense Logistics Agency.

Job Description:

The IA Security Engineer (IAT II) Personnel assigned to this contract shall meet and maintain the certification requirements of DOD 8570.01M for the task to which they are assigned. The IA Security Engineer will assure computer network systems by establishing vulnerabilities and potentials for attacks, establish methods of safeguarding computer systems, global networks, or specific software or hardware, and create, exhibit, establish, enforce, or revise protection methods and recommend mitigation strategies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • IAT II Certification (GSEC or Security+ or SSCP).
  • CND-IR Certification (GCIH or CSIH or CEH).
  • Computing Environment (CE).
  • Experience performing Incident Handling.
  • Experience with IA evaluation tools such as ArcSight, HBSS, Retina, Websense, Cyber Forensics, or Command Cyber Readiness Inspections.
  • Availability to complete shift work.

Favorable adjudicated SSBI as requirement to occupy an IT/ADP-I position. Must have Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science preferred and 3 years of experience with Information Technology.
