Conducts ongoing reviews of all security policies, programs and practices, external and internal, to keep the company and it’s personnel aware of current procedures as well as new policies which may impact program objectives.
Oversees the management of Communications Security (COMSEC) accounts for assigned programs.
Ensures compliance with government directed requirements for the physical security aspects of all spaces and computer network routings.
Briefs management on any significant security incidents or violations impacting individual programs or the overall security posture.
Prepares and conducts Program Security Awareness Briefings.
Maintains liaison with Legal, Contracts and Facility Departments in the pursuit of Company and Corporate security compliance.
Develops security plans, goals and objectives to comply with existing directives and future requirements.
In the absence of the Director of Security approve expenditures, travel and supplies.
Represents the company with respect to security matters at customer meetings as well as at local or national security group meetings.
May train subordinates to a level of awareness and expertise so they may assume essential functions if needed.
Required Education:
Bachelors and 8+ year(s) related experienceRequired Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement, Business Management or similar field or have had equivalent work related experience.Required Skills:
Requires minimum of an Associate’s degree with the expectations of completing of a bachelor’s degree. 3-5 years security related experience.
Must be able to acquire DOD Top Secret clearance.
Experience with the PC’s and office software, good report writing skills.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Knowledge and experience of managing classified programs.
